Please read these terms and conditions (the “Online Purchasing Policy”) carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law and set out the terms on which Cram-Alert Sport ID Ltd makes the products available to you through the Cram-Alert website or by telephone contact with a Cram-Alert consultant.
The technical steps which create the contract between you and us are as follows:
(a) You place your order for ‘Registration’ and or ‘Products’ and ‘ID Devices’ on the Website by pressing the order confirmation button at the end of the checkout process. There may or may not be a packaging and delivery charge dependant on any particular offer at the time.
(b) You may request an acknowledgement, which may be posted or emailed to you, detailing the products you have ordered. This is not an order confirmation and does not constitute an acceptance by Cram-Alert of your order.
(c) Upon despatch of your order, you may request an order confirmation, which will be posted with your ‘Products’ and or ‘ID Devices’. Acceptance of the order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the despatch to you of the products ordered, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order.
(d) Before paying for your ‘Registration’ and or ‘Products’ and or ‘ID Devices’ you will be required to confirm that you accept the terms and conditions of each part of the sale.
a) A Cram-Alert Consultant will take your order over the telephone.
b) Your order will be processed through our merchant services facility. This method of payment gives you security, reassurance and peace of mind as the merchant service assumes full responsibility for the security of your credit / debit card details.
c) Acceptance of the order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place when the credit / debit card transaction has been verified by the merchant service.
d) Your ordered ‘Products’ and or ‘ID Devices’ and any accompanying literature as appropriate will be despatched to you within 60 hours.
e) Printed terms and conditions will be posted or emailed to you if you request them at the time of the credit / debit card transaction.
2.1. The prices payable for the ‘Products’ and or ‘ID Devices’ that you order are clearly set out in the Website. If, mistakenly, the price that appears on the Website is not the correct price for a particular product, we are not obliged to supply that product to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before the product is despatched to you.
2.2. All prices stated on the Website are inclusive of VAT.
2.3. Due to circumstances beyond our control, prices may have to be altered, including any variations in the rate of VAT payable. If this occurs, you will be notified and requested to reconfirm your order at the amended price.
3.1. The purchase of ‘Registration’ and or ‘Products’ and or ‘ID Devices’ displayed on the Cram-Alert website is subject to availability and we shall not be liable to you in the event that we are unable to supply ‘Registration’ and or ‘Products’ and or ‘ID Devices’ to you.
4.1. The total cost of your order is the price of the ‘Registration’ and or ‘Products’ and or ‘ID Devices’ ordered plus any applicable packaging and delivery charges as indicated at the time that you place your order.
4.2. Payments can be accepted from most credit and debit cards.
4.3. Credit/debit card payment will be processed at the time that you place your order.
4.4. All card payments are processed by our Merchant Services provider for a commission fee which is included in the cost of your purchase.
4.5 In the event that a ‘product’ or ‘ID Device’ being unavailable after purchase, a full refund will be provided.
5.1 Delivery will be made to the address specified by you at the time of ordering.
5.2 Delivery will be by Royal Mail. Delivery of products will usually be affected within 10 working days of the date of the order confirmation email. In respect of products which are made to order, the delivery time will be longer. We shall not be liable to you for any loss resulting from delay in delivery to you.
5.3 The delivery charge applicable to your order will be indicated at the time that you are asked to confirm your order.
6.1. You have the right to cancel your order of ‘Registration’ and or ‘Products’ and or ‘ID Devices’ up to 7 working days after the date of order of the products by contacting us by email at support@cram-alert.co.uk
6.2 If ‘Products’ and or ‘ID Devices’ have been despatched to you before you notify us that you wish to cancel the order, you must return any ‘Products’ and or ‘ID Devices’ to us in accordance with our Returns procedure below.
7.1 If, for any reason, you need to return ‘Products’ and or ‘ID Devices’ to us, you must do so within 28 days of the date of delivery. Please use the following procedure for returning any product to us:
i) Keep the product in the original packaging and in its original condition;
ii) Send the item to us by Royal Mail registered post at the following address:

7.2 Please note the following points in relation to returns.
(a) All ‘Products’ and or ‘ID Devices’ must be returned to us unused and in the condition they were when received. We reserve the right to withhold refund of part or all of the purchase price if the ‘product’ or ‘ID device’ is returned in a condition which makes it unfit for resale;
(b) Cram-Alert shall not be liable for the non-receipt by us of returned ‘Products’ and or ‘ID Devices’. Please send returned ‘Products’ and or ‘ID Devices’ to us by registered post and retain a copy of the certificate of posting from the Post Office.
(c) Upon receipt by us of the returned ‘Products’ and or ‘ID Devices’, your credit/debit card will be credited in line with clause 7.2 (a) above.
Your initial ‘Registration’ is sponsored and provided free of charge. It enables your purchased ‘Products’ and ‘ID Devices’ to be registered via the internet on the Cram-Alert register to identify people, and personal property.
A ‘Registered Account’ will remain active for a specified period of time dictated by the terms of the promotion purchased. The specified Registration is provided after purchase and only when the purchased ‘ID Devices’ are registered on the Cram-Alert registration system.
When Cram-Alert ‘re-registration’ becomes necessary you will be notified by email.
The prevailing fee at the time will be charged should you wish to ‘re-register’.
The fee for ‘re-registration’ is an administration fee only and is non-refundable.
Once a ‘re-registration’ fee has been paid, any subsequent service or access to the Cram-Alert register is free of charge for the period of registration.
A single ‘Re-registration’ fee automatically covers all previously registered persons and personal property and all ‘ID devices’ previously purchased. It also covers any new persons and personal property registered and ‘ID devices’ purchased and registered after payment of a ‘re-registration’ fee.
It is the ‘Registered Account Holder’s‘ responsibility to ensure that their ’Registered Account’ remains active.
All Cram-Alert ltd ‘services’ are sponsored by Alert ID Ltd and other supporting organisations.
After the appropriate ‘re-registration’ administration fees there is nothing further to pay and Cram-Alert Sport ID Ltd provides all services including the following to the public, the emergency services and its members’ - ‘free of charge’.
‘Re-Registration’ and ‘ID Device’ payments’ are sometimes used in part or in whole, to provide the Cram-Alert Service to families where the RRP for ‘ID Devices’ is prohibitive.
Cram-Alert supports a number of chosen charities each year. Details can be found on the web site at www.cram-alert.co.uk and in literature which can be supplied at the time of purchasing any Cram-Alert ‘Registration Account’, ID Service or ‘Products’.
Donations to one or more charity may be made via the web site or through the Cram-Alert customer services team. Charitable donations do not attract VAT.
Charitable donations cannot be refunded. All charitable donation payments are taken separately and 100% forwarded to the charity chosen by the purchaser together with the purchaser’s name, address and contact details as detailed by the purchaser.
Cram-Alert Sport ID Ltd reserve the right to terminate the ‘Family ID Register’ account of any person with a full refund of the ‘Registration’ charge and a refund of any ‘Product’ and or ‘ID Devices’ that are returned to Cram-Alert Sport ID Ltd upon request. Cram-Alert Sport ID Ltd are not under any obligation to give an explanation for termination of any ‘Family ID Registration’ account.
This Online Purchasing Policy incorporates the terms set out in the Legal Notices and acceptance by you of the Online Purchasing Policy shall be deemed to be an acceptance by you of the Legal Notices.
