I have teamed up with Alert ID Group Ltd to provide the Cram-Alert ID Service.
The founder of Alert ID Group has 15 years experience in delivering identification services to the UK public looking after some 1.5 million pets, people, horses, luggage, keys, personal property and even your house.
Alert ID Group also run the new in 2010 BEIDS (British Equestrian ID Service) on behalf of the major equestrian organisations including The British Horse Society, British Eventing, British Dressage and British Showjumping.
The Cram-Alert Service is specifically aimed at the sporting world but can of course be utilised by anyone seeing a need for emergency ID of any sort.
Our message to sports enthusiasts is a strong one. I believe that identification is an essential part of any athlete’s kit, just as important as good footwear and hi-visibility clothing.
Training in the UK countryside and urban roads is a dangerous business. There is an element of risk involved. My brother Kevin died when he was on a training run and to this day we have no idea what really happened. (To hear Kevin’s story you can click on the link below).
What was so terrible about Kevin’s accident was the fact that he was not carrying any ID. The emergency services were powerless at that point. They could not contact me or Kevin’s girlfriend as they had absolutely no idea who he was!
Similarly I know that people lose things that are precious to them. Airports lose your luggage and mobile phones and keys seem to have a life of their own. Therefore we have expanded the ID service to take care of you and your possessions.
Cram-Alert Sport ID has been developed to provide ‘peace of mind and assurance’ to you and to your family at home:
“If you become ill, are involved in an accident or just need assistance; providing you are wearing your Cram-Alert wristband; you or someone helping you will be able to contact the Cram-Alert 24/7 Emergency Response Team who in turn will contact your next-of-kin and have access to your registered medical conditions, crisis plans and required medication for use by the emergency services.”
“If you lose any item of personal mobile property, with a Cram-Alert ID tag attached, it can easily be reported found with a telephone call to the 24/7 Emergency Response Team. You will be contacted immediately via your registered contact list to retrieve whatever has been found.”
